Look for the the $3 Million on the House promotion area (usually at
or around the Total Rewards Desk) at each property. The hours of the
promotion at participating hotels (Caesars, Rio, Flamingo, Paris &
Bally's) are from Noon to 5pm every day of the week. Excluded from
this promotion are Harrah's owned Imperial Palace and O'Sheas.

The TR representatives at each the promotion area will swipe your
player's card. At this point, you can win instant prizes like cash
(my mom won $50.00), coupon book (fair to good), airline tickets,
etc. If you don't have a stamp card, the TR representative will give
you one. Each property you visit will stamp the card. Check to see
that the 1st property you visit has stamped the card (some are
omitting to do this). Take the card to the other properties listed on
the card and they will repeat the steps outlined above.

After obtaining 3 stamps, you will receive a $10 food coupon. After
obtaining all 6 stamps, your card will be collected by the TR
representative and you will receive a $20 food coupon. Total coupons
that can be earned per day: $30/per person.

You can only swipe once a day at each property.

The food coupons are good at all "Harrahs-owned" restaurants at
participating hotels and can be used any day of the week. I don't
know about the vendors like Baskin Robbins in the Rio. The coupons
can be combined to purchase food.

If you don't complete a card before you leave -- don't trash it. Save
it because the promotion continues through October, 2006. If you are
not returning to Vegas before October, 2006 pass it on.

Do you have to get the card swiped on the same day to get the $10/$20 coupon? Running around to all those casinos would be a pain in the butt, but being able to spread the trip out over 2 days would make things easier.

Also, can you ditch the card after getting 3 stamps and start a new one? I don't plan on visiting the Rio during our trip which makes the $20 coupon unattainable, but I will most likely be able to hit 3 of the casinos more than once during our trip.

You do not have to visit all the casinos on the same day and you can start a new card at any time. You can visit as many as you want in a day, but not more than once per casino.

We did it. First day we visited all 6 casinos and received $30 each ($10 and $20). On the next day we just did 3 casinos and collected $10 each. You can also win prizes - we won (2) funbooks, (2) tickets to George Wallace and (2) Flavors buffets.

Anyone contemplating doing just 3 casinos, I would recommend Paris, Ballys and Flamingo.

I just got back from Vegas Wed night, we went to 3 casinos as you can only go between noon and 5PM each day, which doesn't leave a lot of time to hit all in one day. You DO NOT have to hit them all at the same time. Keep your card and if you are going back, hit the rest. The line at Paris was long, Bally's went fast and Flamingo line went fast too. Word to the wise, you have to get stamps at BOTH Bally's and Paris, but can only swipe at one of them because they are connected, so they told me. However, each will stamp your card.

We got lucky! Our third stop was Flamingo - they ran out of $10.00 vouchers, so they were giving out $20.00 vouchers instead! AWESOME!! A pleasant surprise and They definitely came in handy!

I am really interested in this promotion. We will have three in our party. Does that mean we could rack up to $90/day in free food? Also, has anyone used the vouchers at the restaurants listed earlier and what kind of restrictions are there, if any, for a party of 3 each using a voucher?

brister21
06-10-2006, 08:02 PM
Yes, you could each earn $30.00 per day in food vouchers. There were 3 in my group, we each earned a certificate, were given $20 vouchers after 3 stamps because they ran out of $10 vouchers!! ANd we each used a voucher for our meal - we ate at The Range steakhouse at Harrah's - not the best steak house I have eaten at for the price I might add.....

Thought of a couple other questions. If your meal costs $15, and you give them your voucher for $20, is the $5 given back or just surrendered? Also, is there a limit per meal that you can redeem at one time? For example, if I really wanted to eat at a nice restaurant, can I save two days of vouchers and use $40-60 at one time? Thanks for any help you can give.

You can use multiple coupons at a single visit. No change given, use it or lose it. We went over our coupon value and they simply charged the remained to my credit card. It's a great deal.

I was able to get 2 $10 and $20 coupons. It took me 3 days. Hint don't go at noon the lines were long starting about 1 it took me about 10 minutes at each location, once I found the correct desk. The Ceasar's was the hardest to find with Bally's the easiest.

Harrah's let me use the $5 handout discount with the $20 coupon but would not give change (to answer a question asked above). The Flamingo would not honor the $5 coupon.

This may be obvious, but figured I'd point it out anyway.
When you use the vouchers you don't get change back, so don't waste a $20 voucher on a $12 meal.

Some additional notes based on my trip last week.

- Bally's seems to have the quickest line for stamps.

- Bally's & Paris are on the same computer system so you can only win prizes from one or the other. You can get stamps at both, but they will only scan your TR card once.

-Flamingo seems to have the longest line most days

-If you go closer to 5:00 for your 3rd stamp you may luck out and get a $20 voucher. Some of the casinos were running out of the $10 vouchers later in the day.

-The lines usually start to form around 11:30 at Harrah's and Flamingo

- You don't get stamps at the TR desk, but it's usually somewhere close by. Usually there is a sign pointing you in the right direction, but not always.

Flamingo - located near the coffee stand
Bally's - located at the end of the TR desk in the main lobby area
Harrah's - located near the back escalators
Caesars - don't remember
Rio - not sure, but it's near the car
Paris - don't remember

- Make sure you have your TR card AND your ID. I guess thety have been having problems with people using other people's TR cards, so they have started to check IDs (mostly at Harrah's and teh Flamingo, but I think everyone is supposed to be checking now).

Hope this helps.

The promotion ends in September 9th. If this date remains in effect, that date will be last date you can acquire stamps, redeem stamp cards for coupons or win instant prizes. The coupons themselves will expire in October.

Thank you all for the in-depth info.

I have a question that seems to have conflicting answers so if anyone knows for sure...thanks in advance.

Are you able to use more than one coupon PER PERSON at the restaurants?

(I've heard you can only use one coupon per person per restaurant, AND I've heard that someone combined their coupons for one meal. Does it depend on the restaurant?)

My wife and I ate at a restaurant at Paris one day. We ordered, ate and presented 2 $10 coupons and both were accepted with no questions. We did the same with our $20 coupons at the cafe in Caesars. Again, honored with no questions asked.

We walked by the night before we were going to leave, and the girl out front told us that they would take the coupons, so the last night of our stay we went and ate, thinking we had $40.00 in coupons.Waitress says manager will be over and talk to us. After heated discussion he says he can not take $40.00 in coupons off our bill, even after I tell him I would not have eaten in there if  the girl out front had not said we could use them. Thanks for posting the info. Not only did we collect the $10 & $20 food vouchers/tickets, I was an instant winner at Paris. It was about 12:30, the attendant said I was the first winner he had seen that day, all of thirty minutes of swiping cards.

We had been to the top of the Eiffel Tower years ago when it first opened. We were staying at Paris; the tickets were included with the room but had to be used before 6pm. Winning two free tickets good anytime, an $18 value was a nice surprise. Returning at sunset (about 8:15 pm last week) was a pleasure.

You can use more than one ticket at a time. We used $30 at the Rio buffet, paid the $2.18 tax for lunch. We used $30 at Ventuno in the Flamingo. It was the best Osco Busco, falling off the bone with the touch of a fork, served with a rissotto that was equally tender and tasty.

I'm going to Vegas next week for 4 days and staying at Caesars. Here's a question for those that have experienced this promotion. My wife and I do not yet have a Total Rewards card. We plan on signing up together on 1 account, but asking for 2 cards so we can each gamble separately. Being that we'll have 1 account number, but 2 cards, will they scan each of our cards separately so we can each win prizes at each of the hotels? Also, can we both get our own food voucher cards stamped or will they only give us 1 stamp because both of our names are on one Total Rewards account?

Lastly, is it just better to sign up for 2 totally separate Total Rewards accounts?

Please, PLEASE someone tell me this is not true? I am going July 8th - 14th, and am REALLY looking forward to using these to have some nice meals while there!

I know about half way through our trip in early June some of the casinos started checking IDs due to people using other peoples TR cards. I wonder if that's what's going on. You'd think that checking IDs would solve the problem if that were the case.

They may have been losing too much money and desided to cut their loses.

The $3 Mil promotion at HET properties in Vegas changed 7/2/06 -- the food coupon portion of the giveaway was stopped on that date due to fraud.

The $3 Mil promotion will continue with the "swipe and win" game -- you can swipe for free gifts (logo merchandise), cash and total rewards points but the jury is still out on how beneficial this portion of the revamped promotion remains viable.

Existing food coupons are being honored by HET; they must be be used by October, 2006.

You can swipe you TR card everday at each of the 6 casinos. In addition you will receive a small card that they stamp at each casino you visit. At casinos #3 and #6 you will receive a gift in addition any you win swiping your card. YOu do not have to do all the casinos each day to receive gifts.

Bagolist - the promotion as described above has largely expired although I believe you can still swipe for prizes. In the beginning each person swiping his/her slot car at 3 casinos earned a $10 dining certificate and those completing the circuit (6 casinos) earned an additional $20 certificate. This was in addition to any prizes he/her may have won.
