Larges Buffet In Vegas

Heard David Letterman talking about the largest buffet in the world and it was in Vegas. I didn't get the name of the hotel. Has anyone heard what it is. I will be in Vegas in 4 days and we would love to check it out.

It was held at the Hilton Hotel on Paradise Road, and it was only a one day event...for the Guinness Book of World Records..."World's Largest Buffet"

It had over 500 items to choose from and was sold out prior to the event....

Sorry I missed that on Letterman. At first I thought you were talking about the buffet at Excalibur. From what I heard, that's the biggest buffet in Vegas, but obviously not for one day..LOL!

There were a several mentions about this in the newsletter including yesterdays:

Hundreds of Las Vegans helped Alka-Seltzer celebrate its 75th anniversary by setting a “Guinness World Record” for the “World’s Largest Buffet” at the Las Vegas Hilton. The 510- item buffet, created by George Bargisen, Las Vegas Hilton executive director of culinary operations, opened to the public at 11:00 AM on March 28. The buffet, which was served to 848 guests in three seatings, was hosted by actress and comedian Kathy Griffin. Proceeds from the event will be donated to America’s Second Harvest – The Nation’s Food Bank Network, the nation's largest charitable hunger-relief organization.
