I usually do not make any set plans before I go to Las Vegas. No reservations ... no show tickets. We like not having anything planned, but I always seem to get one restaurant that I've never tried just stuck in my brain. This time it is Cafe BabaReeba. I love trying new things, and I've never eaten at a Spanish restaurant. Has anyone tried this place? Are they open for lunch? What is the atmosphere?

Haven't tried it yet, but I purchased a restaurant.com gift certificate for our next trip. There is a happy hour Monday-Friday 4-7PM with $3 tapas @ the bar and 1/2 priced Sangria.

Yes, they are open for lunch. I can't give an in-depth review, but I did have a glass of Sangria and an appetizer there one afternoon when I was at the Fashion Show Mall. It was very pleasant - I sat at an outdoor table people-watching the passing Strip scene, and I would definitely go there again.

Thanks for the info. It sounds like my kind of place!
