We will be in Las Vegas on April 7 to 14 and wondered if anyone knows of any meal deals available for then.
Either Buffets 2 for 1 or Restaurants that have great low prices for a good meal.

Binions down on Freemont has a $4.95 steak deal, I believe it is 24/7. It is not on the menu, but you will see signs scattered around Freemont about it, and just have to ask the waitress for it. It consists of meat and one maybe 2 sides, and truthfully I wasn't expecting much. They served us these HUGE rib eyes, that were cooked exactly to order and were quite good. Nothing fancy there mind you, but we go back every trip.:D

If you play at Terribles (corner of Paradise/Flamingo) they'll give you 500 points for signing up for their players club, plus a coupon book with some 2-1 food deals. Be sure to ask for it. Play on Sunday or Thursday when it is 5X points and you'll rack up more credit than you'll probably ever use. 500 points = about $5 in food. Points earned are dollar for dollar, so run $1000 through the machine on a 5X day and you'll earn $50. Can also cash points for 6 packs of soda/beer. I prefer their cafe (2nd floor) over the buffet as it has a wide menu and I've never had a bad meal there. However you need to pre-order your food through the slot club, so I recommend going up, looking at a menu, then obtaining your food slip at the slot club. Be patient, they are slow, but I've found them to be quite nice folk to deal with if you're nice to them. However, they won't hesitate to mouth off to you if you are rude!
Check out their website as you can usually just print-off 2-1 coupons there.
They also have tons of 9/6 JOB poker. "Is this heaven? No, it's Terribles!"

Back in November, we ordered the steaks at Binions special, and they were soooo tough we couldn't even eat or chew small pieces of it. The veggies were cold too. I was so disappointed as we made a special trip downtown just for this dinner.

Last November I stayed downtown.
I had the California Prime Rib Special. A nice ( not great) salad bar and Cherries Jubilee (small) desert was included. I would go back again.:)
The info kiosk at the Fremont Street Experience recommended the Chinese specials at Binon's. In his words" good and portions enough for 2 people".
It was no better or larger than one would expect at a neighborhood resturant.
