I'm going to LV June 14-18 and was looking to book. Previously have stayed/played at MGM, Harrahs, Flamingo, and Ballys/Paris. Had not rec'd any mailers yet, nor any emails for the period. Yesterday I checked out my online offers for MGM Grand (playersclub.com) and found I had an offer for $69 weekdays, and $89 weekends. Called the number only to find that I could only get the discount for one nite: the other three were $189! Thanks but no thanks. I then decided to check out the Harrahs Total Rewards site. Typically there is never anything under "My Offers", but lo and behold I had oodles of room offers for Flamingo and Ballys. Two free weekday nites each month from now until July 31. I called to book, and found the add'l weekend nites I needed are only $70 each. So four nites for $140 - I can dig it.
Check out the Total Rewards site. Never know what you'll find now that they are linked with their newly acquired properties! (And Ballys has 8/5 Bonus Poker, across from the little stage down on the far right.)

We had a 2 night coupon from Paris and I called to make a reservation for 3 nights. Fri. Sat. and Sun. nights. They gave me the third night for $60.00. I said I thought I had enough play that I should get the extra night comped. The girl said that I would probably get enough points on play while there to get the room comped against my Total Rewards Card. I already had about $300 total rewards points, so I said okay. They wanted a charge card for guarantee. So far everything is okay. I'm a little miffed about not getting the third night comped but figured it would work out.

Later we decided to cancel that reservation and go the next weekend for the Millionaire Slot Tournament which had 3 nights comped. We cancelled the first reservation and got a cancellation number. Lo and Behold, when I got my credit card statement they had already charged us for the room ($65.40).
They have since credited us back for it, but I thought it was a little tacky to charge us before we even used the rooms. They said it was an advance deposit, which I kind of understand, but none of the Harrahs properties had ever done this in the past. (We are very, very loyal Harrahs customers.)

So check your credit card, you might already be charged for the two nights.

Another time, at Harrahs, I was charged for one night on a 2 night stay on a 2 night coupon. Called my hostess and she got the charges reversed, but it took about 30 days.

Since Harrahs has taken over the Flamingo I get two rooms comped at Flamingo but do not get any more offers from Harrahs which I used to get comps from there . I guess they will combine there offers from now on:eek:

I have also had issues with Harrah's properties charging my card for a deposit when my entire stay was comped. They must have a glitch in their reservation system but i will say in my case they corrected their error within 48 hours of me bringing this issue to their attention.

We are getting coupons good for Rio/Harrahs/Flamingo combined and separate coupons for Paris/Ballys combined. Have not gotten any for Caesars, but we do not go there much. However, the website shows that I could get 3 nights comped at Caesars if I book online.

They must be having problems getting all the bugs out since taking on the Caesars properties. My experience in the last few months is that former Caesars employees don't know what is going on or what is expected of them. They always seem a little confused. Harrahs needs to take them through a training program.

Does anyone know when IP will be added to Harrah's comp system?

I didn't know if anyone had ever travelled with www.preferredcasinotours.com but we are taking a trip with them in May to Atlantic City in Harrah's. We are getting flight and two nights stay from Friday 4pm-Sunday 6pm for $99 per person. The only thing is that if you fly out from a smaller airport, they might cancel your trip if there isn't enough to fill the flight. That happened to us once, but it is a great time.
