View Full Version : Platters, Coasters Drifters Show.
I have read some good things about the Platters Etc. show at the Sahara. Since they are from our era we have decided to give it a try.
My question is should I book the tickets now or wait till we get to Vegas?
Are the tickets ever available at one of the discount outlets?
Thanks for any Info.

We saw it a few years ago and enjoyed the show very much. We're in our late fifties so the music was definitely from our high school days. Thought all the groups put on a good show but I liked the Platters best and my wife liked the Drifters most.
Pretty sure we got 2 for 1 tickets via a coupon at the time. I know that we tipped the maitre d' a ten or twenty and got seats center stage very close. Most of the seats in that showroom are pretty decent for this show, though, so I wouldn't worry about booking early.

I liked the Show too! I chose the VIP seats down front, small tables and
hard little chairs. The main part of the room is terraces theatre seats and
that's where I'd sit next time...front few rows/center.
The VIP seats are down front, but you could be far Left or Right and have
a poor view of the stage...the room isn't that large and the comfy theatre
seats would make the evening more enjoyable I think...cheaper too.

We saw this show last April and it was great. We purchased our tickets
at one of the half price places. I believe this show is usually availble on
the half price list each day and it will not be necessary to purchase tickets
in advance. We sat near the back and could see very good.

We saw the show last year and we liked the Drifters the best. We were seated in the first row of the theatre seats a little right of center. Very comfortable but bothersome with people walking by; we had to keep moving our feet around for them to pass. The second or third row would be better.
If you are an almost senior citizen like us, the show will be very nostalgic.

I was in line to see Amazing Jonathan, when the crowd let out of the Drifters/Platters show at the Sahara! The people were smiling and clapping. Looked like it was a good show. Maybe I'll get tix for next time I'm in LV!

Saw it and liked it. Got tickets day of show. Now the half price option....HMMMMM. Never thought of that for this show.........(Did it for the Rat pack at the Greek Isles and loved that....) might be worth looking into.

I have to agree woth GREGRIO...we had VIP seating and were wishing for the theater seats by the end of the show. The room is not too big, and any seat would probably be fine...We did really enjoy the show, it was well worth the price.
