Please explain why changing machines gives you a better chance to win than "marrying" a machine. I dont believe this but my friend insists it is. Or maybe I'm wrong.

it doesn't give you a better chance. you can tell your friend, that all slot machines have this little thing called a randon number generator in them.

It can work both ways. I have gone around putting in a few coins and gotten some big hits, but usually my bankroll is smaller afterward. I play quarter machines mostly and sometimes put in as much $200 before it starts to hit. But usually, it will start hitting and I get more than the $200 back. Sometimes a lot more.:)

There are several good ideas on how to play slots in the gambling thread. Go to search and type in "cycles". You will get a thread called "How do you win big on slots?" Some are funny:D and some are practical.:cool: But it is good reading.
