Has anyone seen George Wallace at the Flamingo? I was going to book tickets over the internet but I haven't heard any reviews yet. :)

...you're just all over the place today aren't you...lol
I saw George a year or so ago....walked out half way through.
Lots of folks like him...I LIKE HIM, that's why I went, but he just didn't
'hook' me that night.
He got off on a "your Mamma's so..........." routine, turned it over to the
audience to 'chime in' with their stories but...they didn't have any mics, you
couldn't hear what they were saying, George didn't repeat any of the jokes, and it was like he was having this personal little 'joke-time' with the
folks down front and left the rest of us out. After a good 20min....I did feel
left out and left.
His Show can be different every night, he uses alot of currant info in the
news for his jokes, will start up something with an audience member, and if
all that fails, he has some set stuff he can do......folks like him!

it is a funny show, and i would recommend it. BUT do not book tickets in advance. All same-day ticket oulets have tickets to this show.

Thanks for the advice Gregrio and Brett. I do find the "Yo mamma" jokes pretty funny so I may give it a try. I will wait until I get there for tickets but this will be strange for me because I always have everything booked and paid for about 3 months prior to my trip!

Councilor......approach the bench. Due to the fact that Mr. Wallace tends
to 'play' to the audience 'down front', the Court would suggest you might
consider purchasing your tickets in advance to insure your placement at
the venue to be in a relatively close and effective viewing/HEARING area, thus eliminating any STRANGE feelings you and yo mamma might experience prior to attending the Show.
...............................just a thought Councilor.

LOL Gregrio. Hopefully I won't come across any clients while on holiday! :D I get picked on by enough comedians in court so I might stay back a bit on this occasion! ;)

I saw George Wallace for the first time in October and we loved it. He was so funny....he didn't really do any Yo Mamma jokes which makes me sad because I love them. Anywho, we're going back to see him in 23 days and I cannot wait.

Husband and I saw him about a year ago. Husband really wanted to go - I was doubtful as I think most most comedy shows are predictable and, for me, dull.
We both thought he was very entertaining and truly laugh out loud funny.
As for seats - we purchased the cheap seats but were offered seats closer down front by the ushers.
I would recommend the show and I agree with the wait-to-purchase-your-tickets advice.
Whatever you decide, have a great trip.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I have now purchased my tickets and got the more expensive seats (there wasn't much of a difference in price) so hopefully they will be good seats!
