Has anyone received any mailers for IP's typical coupon book deal where you get MPs, buffets, drinks, etc... I've used these in the past, something called Autumn Escape or something like that. Just wondering if they have this deal for my upcoming trip in March. I'd like to re-book and get the coupon book. Thanks for any info.

I get them all the time. As I have posted many times, all you need do is contact Bob Cohen at the IP and he will set you up, in the least at matching any current promotion. I will send you his contact info via your Forum info.

Greetings Steve... I'd also be interested in having Bob's email address. We used to stay at IP all the time, and are looking for a decent room rate for March 16th-17th. We're at the Monte Carlo for the first part of that week, but we're stuck off-strip at The Orleans for those last two nites because the rates were so good. Maybe Bob could come close to matching the rates and get us back on the strip. TIA for the info!

I just reserved 6 nights for July at IP. When I first called I got general reseravations. I asked them how much per night with my players card? They transferred my call to another line where I asked again how much per night with my player's rate. I didn't have my slot card number but he just looked up my name and gave me $49 for all nights except Fri/Sat which are $69. If there is a special promotion going on when I check in, just ask for the coupons as they don't know a lot of promotion info far in advance. He did remind me that your points can also be redeemed towards your room instead of cash. My last visit in November was for 4 nights and it only cost me $50 for all four nights with my points and I don't play a LOT of slots compared to some people. :-)

That is the rate we got when we were there this past week at the IP 49 for sun to thur and 69 for fri/sat. These are not the remodeled rooms. You have to pay 20 extra per nite for these. The staff at the front desk told us when we checked in that they were really not worth it in thier opinion but if we didn't like our room they would gladly change us to another or we could pay to upgrade. The staff just seemed to be super friendly and excited that for now the IP was staying as is. Not sure if Harrahs will switch it over to thier system or not and they didn't have an answer for that. The host did say that the only promotions going on were the prices we were offered and we could use our comps and "advised" us to cash them in and get our cash back "just in case" and we surely did! I hope you enjoy your visit there. We are counting the days till June when we return but we will be using our timeshare at the Jockey Club for then.

Hi Pete,
You really need to email me at mrvegas98@aol.com and let me know exactly what you asked for when talking to Bob. I hope you told him you were a newsletter member? If you asked him about coupon deals and there weren't any at that time, then he answered you correctly. "Good Ol Bob" as you call him has always helped any newsletter member when they called or emailed him.
Also in reading your original post, you mention "coupon books" (Has anyone received any mailers for IP's typical coupon book deal where you get MPs, buffets, drinks, etc) and in your follow-up post you refer to them as "coupon deals" which are two different things entirely.

I have emailed and talked with Bob before, and at this time no coupon deals or mailers are available for the second week of March Madness. The coupon deal I am speaking about is the typical mailer with the coupon book with bj mps, buffet, free drinks etc... So the reason for the message posting was just to see if anyone had received any mailers for the IP during March.

I will be in Vegas 04/11/06-04/18/06 with my family, we may need two rooms, or one deluxe room. Does anyone have any deals going on? Please let me know. I plan to visit often.

Hi Polar: That sounds like a great deal. I wonder if I will receive that one.I usually do.The last time I booked at the IP I mentioned the Great Escape package even though I had not received the offer. I am a cardholder. Is this 3 free nights--Wow!!!! Is there any other information on your offer postcard that a person might need to book it? Any iinformation would be helpful.

After reading (and salivating) about the Spring Spectacular mailing from IP, and not having received one, I decided to throw caution to the winds and give Bob Cohen a call.
Bob dashed my hopes in one fell swoop. If you don't receive one in the mail, you don't get the deal.
It seems that Harrah's is now doing all marketing for IP and is sending out mailers based on recent play. Since the last time we stayed there was last April, I guess we're not on the "A" list. They are also completely separate from Harrah's Total Rewards program.
So now the question becomes: Do we play more at IP, in the hopes of getting perhaps one more offer before any major changes are made at that casino/hotel? Or do we just say screw it and play more at Harrah's in the hopes of possibly getting a couple of free nights out of them once in a while?
Lois
Waiting impatiently for April 24th

Bob dashed my hopes in one fell swoop. If you don't receive one in the mail, you don't get the deal.
I have mentioned several times about this new "system" of mailers. I have mentioned you need to be a IP Card Holder to get the deals that are sent in the mailers. Bob will still be able to do something for you which is why you should contact me first as I have also mentioned many times for Bobs contact info.

We are booked at IP for April 23 to April 27th. One of the people in our party (who rarely plays!) got the mailer last week, so I mailed Bob Cohen and asked to have our room changed to that and he said not a problem. So now we get one night free, plus all the coupons etc. There are four of us in the room, and we are still only paying $49 a night for the room... Bob Cohen rocks!!!! 3 more weeks that will feel like 3 years!!!!
