If you're a 'fan', you'll be GLAD...
If you like their Showtime program BullShit, you'll be GLAD...
If you're just curious, you'll say Penn talks too much, there's no
glitz/flash/zip-boom-VEGAS-bang to their show, you might be SORRY...

I like 'em....saw them again (3d time) last trip...
There's a 'meet and greet' with them after the show in the lobby
you can say "Hi" to Teller and he'll... SAY HI back!.....(and more)
Their Showroom can be a bit chilly....dress acordingly

Saw Penn and Teller last year. We quite enjoyed them. Not a show for the younger set. The theater is chilly. You do really need a sweater.

I've seen Penn and Teller every time I've been to Vegas . . . . . . The show changes just enough every year to keep you interested, and the old favorites never disappoint . . . .

We saw the show about a year and a half ago. It's good but unusual. I agree, it's not for children.

I have been going to Las Vegas since 1998 . . . I have never understood why anyone would bring a child . . . .

By the time the "Bullet" trick was performed. Both Eileen and I wished Penn had the BULLET in his mouth and the gun malfuctioned. (just kidding  )

He really did talk way too much.

 Don't waste your time the show is not all that. If you are at the Rio go see Shintas, it's much better and about the same price:)

We've seen the Scintas twice. Last time was August of this year. The Penn & Teller show is comped so we might as well try it out.

These are two seperately different types of shows at the RIO. You
can't compare one to the other, you simpley should know what type of
show you're seeing.......................you know what you like.

P&T are writers. They express their views on things through this
magic-type show they do. Penn talks too much, Teller is cute with
a little dark twist to his gags. I really like their show, have seen it three
times over the years...it's fun. You want magic, go see Lance Burton.

SCINTAS is your all purpose, binine, conservative LV Show. Music,
comedy, impressions, mixed with a little too much modeln, patriotic,
family stuff for me...kinda felt like I needed a shot of insulin after...
Younger crowds will be bored. It's easy to get 2for1 tickets but the
show is getting a bit dated and rumor is, Harrah's might not renew their
contract due to the fact it isn't attracting the younger demographic.

Hey, Gregrio --

Got tickets to Scintas for my daughter (28) and her hubby(29) last summer. They liked it. She just had to get some of their stuff and walked away with a t-shirt. Plus, she got to shake their hands and thought that was a real treat.
But then, they went to Coyote at NYNY and hated it. She and I went to see Jubilee. She was very impressed; it was so-so for me. (Maybe they are not the typical wild & wooly younger crowd.)

I have seen Penn & Teller a few times on TV, so hopefully I know what to expect. Hubby doesn't know anything about them, so I don't know for sure if he will like the show or not. Guess we will find out. We'll be there Friday, Oct. 28. I'll report back.

I did not care for the show...too much talk....nothing special.

When I see a show in Vegas, I expect to be blown away...I was not!

Okay, I guess it is just depends on what you want to see. We were not bowled over with the show, but we did enjoy it. There were not many magic tricks but a lot of talk. But some of the illusions were good. Still can't figure out how Teller got into that box. And the thing he does with the flower and shadow is impressive. We shook his hand after the show and he was very gracious.

Penn does do a lot of talking, but we were not turned off by it. It seemed to be the set-up for the next illusion and just part of the show.

All that said, we will not be going back any time soon, if ever.

My wife and I saw them December 2004, and we think it is one of the best shows in Vegas. Also, if your lucky, you can go to the Peppermill after the show, and Penn will show up and sign autographs and pose for pictures. I am 6 foot tall, and Penn towered over me, he is a big man, but very friendly. Go see them!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, why not...you can always leave early as we did! LOL Too much other fun stuff to do! You may enjoy the show, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I did love Scintas, though, and get it comp'd as well. I'm seeing it again next week (nov 16th), and am going to see "O" again. Now "O" is a beautiful show!! Not comp'd though! lol Have fun!!
