thanks everybody! It's turned into a drum corps birthday so far. (one of the few things I miss about the east coast) I put the trimmings on my Bayonne Bridgemen costume, watched about 3 hours of DCI videos from the 80's (before I was born--right Bob?) and now I'm headed downtown for the parade, dinner, and a deep fried dessert! I wish you were all here too! Maybe I'll bump into Westie and Ann downtown!

Thanks again guys and gals! It turned into a very interesting day and evening. But I still wish you all were here to share it with me!

My birthday cake of choice this year was a deep fried twinkie from Mermaids! Yummy!!

Last year it was one of those specialty cakes from Jean Phillipe at Bellagio. That was yummy as well.
