Hotel has great location but nothing really special in the room compared to others. However, two of the best places to eat in town are at the Barbary. Drai's and Michaels....but bring plenty of $

Stayed at the Barbary Coast about 4 years ago. Visit it every time we go back. It's small, but very nice. Great location. I realy like it.

location, location.

i like BC tho the rates can be high for what you get. The rooms are quaint but fine. Be sure and get your coupon book.

The best part is that you can walk out the door and the walkways to any direction on the strip are right there.

no pool is the only downfall... but you probably won't need a pool. i stay there only in the winter because of that tho. It also has shuttles to all of their other properties. nice.

We love the BC. Good small hotel right in the heart of the action.

You can request a room overlooking the Bellagio fountains, BUT be warned, you're right on the corner and the traffic can be loud! I recommend a "sleep machine" (wave maker or the like) to drown out the street noise. The opposite side, facing the Flamingo, is quieter.

Upon check-in you get a grear fun book, which is MUCH better than the fun book they give the slot club members. You get coupons for free drinks at the BC, Gold Coast, Orleans as well as a Match Play, free beer and free souvenir.

Cocktail service is quick in the casino as well. There is a free shuttle to the Gold Coast. The only drawbacks - no pool and although the self parking is very convenient (inside the building), it's tough to get in and out of there at rush hour.

We'll be going back the weekend of 10/20-10/24.
