Hi bs guy

My hubby and I always go to "The Steakhouse" at Circus Circus. It is excellent and anyone that we have taken have truly enjoyed it also. It is not cheap, but it is reasonable. :)

IMO, these are Las Vegas' best Steakhouses (list is a personal one from places I have been to)

1- Las Vegas Hilton Steakhouse..Simply the best.
2-The Steakhouse at Circus Circus (I dare you to eat the whole thing)
3-Embers at Imperial Palace..the price is right.
4-Top Of The World at The Stratosphere...the view is breathtaking and so are the prices.
5- Bally's Steakhouse..Impeccable service.

Wow, I would have thought that I would hear names like Prime,Delmonico,N9ne or the Range but I guess I was wrong

regarless of price? well, I do regard price as part of anything, so Even that there are fancier places, bigger steaks and such, I don't believe that you will get a sinifigently better steak that the $4.95 special steak dinner served 24/7 at the Ellis Island..the service is good and they brew their own ales too!

To be honest, I had dinner at N9ne and Delmonico and I wouldn't have rated them in my top five or ten. The Range is in the top ten but prices have gone way up in the last year, actually, EVERYTHING has gone up in the last year!

My thoughts....

If you want to balance good steak and reasonable prices, my vote will be for The Steakhouse at Circus Circus.

If money is no object, and you want a great steak, I would recommend Delmonico (Venetian) or Nine (Palms).

Easy to answer question....the PRIME at Bellagio, but bring lots of cash !

The Range at Harrahs is excellent and the view if you can get a window table is very nice. The prices are about average.

Quality is best at The Steakhouse, as is the price! Delmonico's is, IMO, a clip joint.... clearly not worth the pricetag....

I personally like Ruth Chris or Gallaghers at NYNY

It"s Hard To Believe That People Would Pick Franchise Steakhouses Over The So-many Good Steak-pits In Vegas.
You Can Get Outback And Ruth"s At Home .
I Don't Think I Have Ever Had A Bad One !!

I'm sure most of the above are great...KOKOMOS is closed for a while for
re-modeling.
The ones I hear most about is DELMONICO, BLACKSTONES in Monte Carlo,
and N9ine in the PALMS.....MY FAVORITE.(their creamed corn is fantastic)

My husband and I have eaten at Delmonico about 6 or 7 times now and have NEVER been disappointed. The service is always top notch (IMHO) and the bone-in Ribeye is to die for!! They have a great wine list as well. If you like dessert, you have to get the Creme Brulee!! The housemade garlic parmesan potato chips are a must too!!!

Ballys Steakhouse, The Luxor Steakhouse And Kristophers At The Riviera Are Some Of My Favorite. Prices Are Reasonable And Service Was Great. I Tried Conrads At The Flamingo Last Year And I Was Very Dissapointed.

Kokomo's at the Mirage. Excellent!

I so have to agree with vwarden...Kokomo's is excellent (also the crab legs) My favorite Vegas place to eat.
Surprises me it's being remodeled. It's beautiful the way it is/was.

1) Austins in Texas Station (my all-time favorite)
2) The Broiler in Boulder Station
3) The Steakhouse at Binions
4) Outback (you can't go wrong for the price)

I was in vegas from 9-13/9-20 (9/19 being my birthday), I had the steak dinner at Westaward Ho. In my opinion, it was AWESOME. You had the choice of soup or salad, 16oz t-bone steak (which I thought was grilled to perfection), vegetables, mashed potatoes or fries or rice pilaf, and rolls and butter for $9.95 from 11 am to 10 pm. I thought that was a great b-day present for me. I really enjoyed it. Next year I will have to find another place for my steak in that price range and that tasty.

I have never been disappointed at Nero's in Caesars Palace. i always try to have dinner there at least once during my stay in Vegas. It is pricey, though. A really good steak can cost mid $40's, and everything is a la carte. The steaks are really flavorful, and I usually can't finish the whole thing. Their Chilean Sea Bass was also outstanding.

Uh Oh, we're gonna be at the MC seeing the Lance Burton show so I made reservations at Blackstone's for afterwards so the rest of our party can meet us there. It seems like it was reasonably prices and convenient for us - I won't be dissappointed will I? (We will be having the EI $4.95 steak special earlier in the week!)

I have tried just about all of the steakhouses and YES The Steakhouse @ CC is the very best. It's too bad that you actually have to walk through the casion to get there, but just close your eyes! Once you are in the restaurant you will be in old school Vegas. Great ambiance, fabulous food and excellent service. We will be going there once again for NYE dinner. Ask for Roberto, he's the best!

Is it being remodled or closed? I thought MGM/Mirage was shutting it down when their major reconstruction project got started?

I went by KOKOMOS a few week ago now to see if it was open yet...NOT.
That area of the Mirage is getting upgraded. There's a Baccarat room,
High Limits room, High Limit Slot room and KOKOMOS. They all look very
similar from the outside...very sleek, polished metal, black and silver...
reminds me of THEhoel lobby. There's some beautiful art glass around there they're
using for decor...very nice.
I believe I heard KOKOMOS would be open my mid December.

great steak at a reasonable price, go to the steakhouse at circus circus. pay not attention to the other parts of the hotel, go directly to the steakhouse and you will not be disappointed.

These were both very good.

Ellis Island is a good value but it's a cheap steak. Worth it ($4.95) but cannot compare with real steak houses. Gallagher's is very good too.

Coming from the UK i would say that the best steak house is in the Luxor Steakhouse :p followed by the well kept secret of Phils' Steakhouse ;) at the Frontier. Have tried a great deal of the "fashionable" Steakhouse but always go back to those two. Never really be disappointed with any

Hey bs, I go to Vegas every 6 months with my husband and boss who only eat big slabs of meat.... my choise is del fresco's (3925 Paradise Rd), ruth's chris (3900 Paradise Road) and charlie palmer steakhouse (4 seasons). i tried hilton's steakhouse per steve's recommendation - sorry, not in my top 5 but very good; best atmosphere and the steak has been great 2 out 3 times - kokomo's at mirage. :D

If $ is no object I would highly recommend Gallaghers at NYNY. We go to LV 3-4 times a year and usually eat there twice per visit. Each and every time the food has been great. In addition to the steak, the king crablegs are also the best I've had.
