Does anyone have a good recommendation for seats for this show? We have a $50 food voucher if we get the most $$$ seats. Are they worth it? Is the show goo? We do like Abba music. Thanks in advance

We sat in section BB, row B - that's the center section, 2nd row. Seats were great, cost $100. per. We also love ABBA music and did enjoy all of that. However, the show was a little long - 2 1/2 hours. There is an intermission but it just seemed to drag. With all of the shows there are to see this is not one we would recommend. The music does make it OK.

I thought the show was very good sat in a loge in back of sec. b great seats. As I remember seats just went up in price in October. With the $50 food credit it sounds like a good deal.:)

I saw the show in New York and thought it was very entertaining! Yes, liking ABBA would definately help...LOL! I might treat the hubby to see it in LV next visit. It's a good musical and has a humorous storyline! It is long, but most plays/musical's I've seen (in New York) are that long, but they always have intermission. With your food voucher, it's a good deal!

Well I didn't think it dragged...better to see the whole/real version, than
have it cut to 90min. like the other Broadway musicals in town will be!
I'm not a big ABBA fan, but the music was great...except you'll be singing
'Dancin' Queen' in your head for days........but that's a GOOD THING!

Cute, silly, little love story...fun personalities, and again the MUSIC!
Next time I see it (only 2 times so far...) I want to sit down front.
Being able to see the actors close up should be a blast. There isn't any
advantage to sitting further back to take in the BIG-WOW-VIEW like some
other shows...MAMMA MIA uses simple stage sets, good lighting, and
down front would be great.

I go to RAFFELS after Shows at MB for desert...it's on the same side as
the Theatre, down past the sports book. Never had dinner there, but it
a very nice, upscale cafe/restaurant, and deserts are great.

My mum and I got the most expensive seats (mum's birthday) and sat in the dead center of the front row for Mamma Mia. We thought it was amazing. It was so near that you could actually see the microphones coming out of the actor's hair at their foreheads! We were sitting beside a lovely lawyer and his wife from New York. He had been at the Twin Towers during 9/11 and was still incredibly upset - he was such a lovely man. (Being a lawyer in the UK I found the guy incredibly interesting to talk to - well everyone else hates us so we need to stick together! :D )

The only downside was that I had heard that everyone would be up in the aisles dancing along it must have been a slow crowd that evening! It was actually quite embarrassing because the actors could look directly at us and it was quite uncomfortable when they were obviously trying to get people to get up and boogie! The lawyer's wife got up so me and my mum joined in. Only another few joined us but it was fun.

All in all, I would go for the same seats again because you didn't have people shifting in their seats in front of you and you could get engrossed in the production - fantastic!

I haven't sat down that close yet, but next time I see it...that's
where I want to be.
The nights I've gone, much of the crowd was up and dancin'...great fun!
You just have some DUDS some nights...LEGENDS is the same way too. There's no dacing, but some crowd have just sat there like bumps on a log and they get my NFAA rating...NO FUN AT ALL.

I know what you mean about Legends Gregrio. I go each year and the crowd are fantastic but the crowd last year were completely embarrassing! No-one clapped or smiled even. I feel really bad for the singers in those situations. It wasn't that they were bad (with the exception of Gloria Estefan who was awful) it was just a bad crowd.

...reminiscent of some jurors I would imagine.

I have seen Mamma Mia twice in the last 6 months. We had center section
2nd row the first time and center section, first row center the second time. We absolutely loved it. Not only did you have a great view of the actors, you are also sitting right above the orchestra pit and it was quite entertaining to watch them in action. We loved the show and the music. I would see it again, although I just read that they changed up all the cast. I do hope that does not make a change in it. ::)
