Yes, see Larry G. Jones! I've seen him twice...so far. He's a fine entertainer and puts on an excellent show. Here's a link with info about him: http://www.lasvegasacts.com/ You probably don't need get tickets in advance, but you might call Fitzgerald's Casino to verify that. As far as the time from the Strip to downtown, it depends how you plan to travel, at what time of day, what day, etc. I'd allow plenty of time before the show. You could probably buy tickets and check out Fremont Street until it's time for the show, if you have extra time.

You will enjoy the show! The price is really good!! Some of the Hotels downtown will comp you if you ask..The tickets can be purchased right up until show time, and I think they are only 6 or 7 Dollars.(Which includes a drink of your choice) Good entertainment,,,Good Price,,,!!...You won't be sorry...Check out Fremont street while you wait for the show..By car you could easily make it in 15 minutes...Parking is great at The Golden Gate, walk to The Union Plaza, upstairs to buy the tickets...Enjoy!!

NOTE FROM STEVE.

Larry's show is NOT at the PLAZA anymore, it is back at Fitzgerald's.

Tickets are now overpriced at $22 ($31 VIP). I would suggest buying the 2006 American Casino Guide which includes a coupon for 2 free tickets (no free drink anymore).

First off, I don't think the tickets are overpriced at $22. Second, there is at least one way to avoid paying even $22 for a ticket.

There are a few people inside and outside in front of Fitzgeralds that hand out discount coupons starting at about 6PM. It will save you at least $5.00 per ticket.

Larry has been a big supporter of this newsletter and has made many unselfish ticket contributions for my members. You will have a great time at the show. Also for a complete evening, Limerick's Steakhouse before the show is an excellent choice.

Yes, I've seen him. OMG....the funniest show I've seen. Such a talented entertainer. Great voice imitator, singer, and very funny! Nice guy too. He hangs outside the theater at Fitzgerald's before the show and he'll talk to you. He could actually get away with charging more for his tickets, if he wanted to, he's that good! Definately go to see him!

larry puts on an excellent show. we saw him at the plaza for about $12 per person that included a drink. $30 per person seems a bit high for downtown. what about tixtonight or as others have said the fitz's promo discounts

Happy Holidays

Based on the recommendations from this site's host, we went to this show on our recent trip to Vegas. Picked up two tickets on eBay for a total of ten dollars so it was certainly worth the price for us. Show is at the Fitzgerald's Hotel and Casino so the show room is nothing to write home about. There are "No Smoking" signs everywhere in the show room but the show room has a thick haze to it for some reason. The chairs are not very comfortable and the acoustics are not great. All that being said, Larry G. Jones himself is a very good performer. The show started a little bit slow but picked up a lot as it went along. He interacted with the audience and the highlight for the show for us was his skit on our present President. It was so funny but really sad as well as it was all true!! He did a nice job and we told him after the show that we had been sent by "Steve's Everything Vegas". I would recommend going to see the Larry G. Jones show one evening in Vegas.

Enjoy
