Has anyone eaten at Joe's Stone Crab? How is the food and what should I expect for lunch and dinner prices?

Thanks

I've eaten @ the one in Miami, which was very good - had to wait, as they didn't take reservations, the LV store does - have looked @ menu in LV on my way to BOA in the Forum Shops -- pricey, but they give excellent service. They have an online menu, w/out prices. My guess is that dinner for 2 would run about $200. or just under, if you don't go crazy w/ wine...

Plan on trying it out my next trip.

Ate there in July. The food was superb. Nothing like having Stone Crab claws in the middle of summer. The meal prices were not cheap. I had the stone crab, hubby had a filet mignon on the bone, au gratin potatoes, coleslaw, an appetizer (shrimp cocktail I believe) and a drink a piece and it was $160 including tip. I don't know if the stone crab was much higher in price since it was the summer. The food and service were superb.

If it's as good as the one in Miami, then it must be fabulous. It is the same owner. Lines always form around the block at the Miami one and people often hand the maitre d $100.00 just to get seated fast. Waiters fight each other to get a gig with this restaurant. If you go, better be there on an "off" hour. Last time I was there I was sitting next to Barbara Walters! (Or maybe, she got to sit next to me! ;) Expensive, but if you are on vacation, splurge!:D
