It's sleeting in Vegas!!

It's been raining this morning - forecast shows 55% chance of rain, BUT...... it just started sleeting!!! It's 48 degrees right now, with expected high temp of 58 degrees. (Forecast for tomorrow is a high of 75 degrees!!) :confused:

Our balcony has sleet on it, the palm trees just below us have a bit of sleet buildup.

I am located just east of the LV Hilton, very close to Paradise Rd. and Desert Inn. It's sleeting!!!!

We watched it hit the pavement. Looked like tiny hail balls. Some of the clouds were quite dramatic, and surrealistic. It was strange seeing people bundled up in Chinatown. I went and bought some water cress. :p

Well, I saw it and heard it, on my second day in Vegas. Just rained very very hard at my place for a good long long time. It was pretty darn cold that day and the next day too. One local told me that Vegas can get a cold day even in June. I did bring some warm sweaters for the rainy days and some lighter outfits for warmer weather. It was mostly cold during this last trip, nights were cold too. Then got back to CA and we had a quake, felt that one. Good Old Mother Nature !!! :rolleyes:

For the third day in a row it's SNOWING My poor tulips and my TOMATO plants I have had to cover everything

didn't snow here, but it was barely 60. No swimming for LVFAN after her spa day. Too bad, because that wave pool is awesome.
