View Full Version : Vegas for the Third... and Forth time
Hello all! It s great to have this board to talk about Vegas!
I have 2 upcoming trips to Vegas... October and NYE. I previously went in May and July. When all is said and done that'll make 4 times this year! In the past I have usually made it out 2, maybe 3 times a year, so this will be a record for me. One I am looking forward to breaking!
On October I will be there from the 15th to the 19th. Got a great deal at Harrah's ($59 for three nights...total), and for NYE I will be at the Imperial Palace. Compared to other places on the strip, felt I got a pretty good deal at $208/nite.
Over the next few weeks just have to think of a show or 2 to see on October...

Have a fun trip. I'm staying at Harrah's in October also. I've stayed there a few times already and have always been pleased with my room. The location is great. I've got tickets to see Clint Holmes at Harrah's. I have seen his show twice and always enjoy it. Elton John is playing at Caesar's Palace in October. That should be a great show.

Hey 'rje'...keep in mind, all the "A" Shows have been on sale for a
while now, if you're thinking of one of them, make up your mind,
call the Boxoffice, and get something booked or they will all
be sold out.

great price for harrahs... how did you manage to get those prices. players card comps?
i, too am going in oct and got great airfare from chicago but the only comps i had were from LVH and they are booked for the days i will be there. i have found the prices on hotels are high, probably convention time, i am assuming.
any ideas for me?
mturner: i got an offer from Harrah's, $49 for one night, and 2 free nights. I was surprised to get such an offer, as I did not think I did that much gambling while I was there in May... buy hey, I'll take it!

I got the same type of mail offer - $39/night in April. I also had never played too much at Harrah's. We're going in October and I thought I'd call them for a price, but they were something like $130/night. Too steep for us, especially when IP quoted me $49/night. The location is right next store and a room is a room as long as it's clean.

i actually was able to book on another website, other than theirs, for 59 ( mid week ) which is fine for me for an on the strip hotel. i like it much better than IP and Barbary Coast was HIGH, which I love their locale also.
