New York New York Spa Suite...

Unfortunately no wins to speak of, but thought I'd post photos of the room for those who have never stayed in one of the Spa Suites at NYNY. First off, all the spa rooms face away from the strip according to the person who checked us in. We stayed there on a 3 night comp in August with $300 free play. Because we were in Vegas for so long in the end of August through early September, we were able to do this twice! So we had 2 comp stays in the spa suite (really just a room w/ a hot tub in it) and $300 free play with both stays, plus some free food comps but nothing to write home about. We had to break up the stays, but that was no problem as we also were staying elsewhere. (all comped whoo hoo!)

Don't have a photo of it, but the closet is outside of the bathroom too and doesn't have any doors. Strange... ETA- you can see part of the "closet" reflected in the mirror over the sink.

I have a friend who has stayed many times in the NYNY spa suite, including several times when I've been along. The ones I've seen of his are larger and include a dining area as well. They've been corner rooms with two views, one of which has always been of the Strip.

The one you had definately has a fresher decor than the ones I've seen. Of course, the last time I was in one was a couple of years ago.

Hmmm...your friend must be a way higher roller than me, lol! Maybe they put us in a mini jacuzzi suite. :o :confused:
