hey u Vegas nutz,
I am taking a big group of my friends to vegas in DEC.
and i need some help with seeing a show.
i have seen a few shows in my past trips . but it was just for 2 people , and we just walked up and bought tix.
this time there will be 6-8 people.
what is the best place to buy tickets on line?
is it cheaper to buy them through a broker or straight from the showroom?
we are thinking about blue man group , Penn and teller, amazing Jonathon,
is there a website where i can get coupons or deals to some of these shows?especially blue man group.

Scroll down on this page to my 'Holidaze Hiatus' post and check out
the schedual on who's working and who's off for the holidays.
Blue Man is on full, normal schedual....this is one of the many Shows
you'll want to book in advance...call the phone number I listed.
It's always best to call the Boxoffice for any show to get the best
seats. Websites can be very decieving when a computer is picking
your expen$ive 'next best seat'...talk to a real person.
You'll want to decide on a Show NOW and call ASAP!

With a group in December when things are slower, I would strongly suggest going to the half price ticket places and taking pot luck. There is a good chance that higher quality shows will have tickets available for your group and half price is after all , half price!

I just found out I will be in vegas Dec. 11th-14th by myself was thinking about seeing a show or two. where are these "half price" tickets venues at ? I have heard of them in the past but am not aware of the particulars. Any help would be appreciated.

There are two venues that I know of- one is in the fashion show mall and the other is right outside the Riveria near the food court entrance. The shows are sometimes limited as to selection- is not the big shows like Barry or Celine, but good bargins are to be had. Go early around noon and be prepared to wait in some kind of line. It does move quickly though.
Enjoy the shows- now you can see two of them for the price of one.

One more thing- the tickets tonight(name of the ticket people) mean that- you can only buy tickets for that nights shows.

I have just bought over the net (I am in the UK) 5 tickets for the Blue Man group for December 26th - Cost from the Ventian site was $87.50 per ticket (balcony) on a couple of the on-line ticket sites I was quoted $170+ per ticket! - As for leaving it for the last minute - I think with a big group it must be best to book in advance unless you dont mind being split up. 19 days before we fly to Vegas!!
