Everything Las Vegas: Another Members Corner
I am really WAY behind in contributions sent in by members for the Members Corner newsletter so I am sending out another for your reading pleasure. Feel free to contribute to the Members Corner by send me anything Las Vegas related to: mrvegas98 at aol.com
Hello Steve and Eileen:
It was so nice to finally meet you in Las Vegas last week.
I wanted to let you know that the Scinta’s program was fantastic!!! We
really
had a wonderful time. As a result of those tickets we were not able to see
Larry G Jones, but will do so on my next trip.
I’d like to see these meetings become a regular thing when you are in town.
If
you do this again and I’m in town I’ll do whatever I can to help… including
a
couple Vegas type games and a magic or comedy show if you’d like. ( I do a
country type character you can find him at: http://www.barfenfloss.com/
Below is a report of this trip that you may want to put in the next
newsletter
and a second article intitled “Las Vegas… Other than gambling” I thought
it
might be of interest to many of the members.
Again thanks for a fun afternoon and tickets to a great show!

TRIP REVIEW
Just back from a week in Vegas. No need to stay in a hotel because my father
lives in Henderson and I stay with him. We spent the first few days fishing
about 200 miles north of Vegas, but our luck in the water was less then poor.
Oh Well, you have to have a bad trip now and then to appreciate the good
ones.
Back in Vegas we went to see The World’s Greatest Magic show. What a great
cast
of very polished performers. Every magician was unique and each one has
earned
the right to be seen and enjoyed. We also went to see Lance Burton at the
Monti Carlo. He has been my favorite magical entertainer for the past 10
years. He proved to be in great form on the evening we went to see him. This
Louisville born boy has not lost his country charm.
I’m a penny slot player and while I never win much, I also never lose much.
This trip I was down about a hundred dollars when I hit a nice jackpot on a
Mermaid slot machine at Nevada Palace on Boulder. With $5.00 in the machine
and a 60 cent bet on the line, I hit the bonus, 10 free spin, round and my
first spin out lined up 5 sea horses for a bonus of $335.00. Nevada Palace is
one of the only casino that still has $1.00 Blackjack tables. The next day,
while playing at a local Henderson Casino (Club Fortune) I took $100.00 out
of
the Cops and Donut machine with only $10.00 in the machine.
One of the highlights of the trip was the everythinglasvegas members meeting
at
the Imperial Palace. Meeting the man (and woman) behind this great
newsletter
was a real treat. This should become a part of every trip Steve and Eileen
make the Las Vegas. I hope to make many more in the coming years. Larry G
Jones made an appearance at the meeting and did about 10 to 15 minutes of
very
enjoyable impersonations for us. He also gave everyone there a ticket to his
show (all we needed to do was buy a drink at the program) Unfortunately I
was
not able to see this program because we already had tickets to V, the
Ultimate
Variety Show, with Jeff Hobson… This man is very very funny.
The only evening what we had free was suddenly booked when we won tickets, at
the everythinglasvegas.com meeting, for the Scintas. What a great program!
This italian family makes everyone feel like part of the family. We smiled,
we
laughed, we cried, we applauded…. in a word we loved it!
V, the Ultimate Variety Show is one of those programs where you don’t know
who
the acts are going to be until you see them. I’ve seen this program 3 or 4
times, each time it was different, but each time it was fantastic! Jeff
Hobson
is an incredible MC
Since I used my frequent flier miles for this trip to Las Vegas, with the
wins
and the comped shows and meals my trip was a total cost of -0- In fact I
left
with $1.00 more in my pocket then when I arrived Not bad for 8 days of
great
fun in America’s playground.

Las Vegas… Other than gambling
One question I see asked over and over in this newsletter is… “I’m taking
the
Kids to Las Vegas, what can we do other than gamble to keep them
entertained?”
Or maybe you’re taking your mother who doesn’t want to gamble, or maybe you
just
need a break from investing in the profits of the casinos.
These is so much to see in Vegas that is not related to gambling so I thought
I’d just share a list of things I share with friends who are going to vegas
but
don’t want to spend all their time gambling…….
It would be hard to list everything, but I’ll list as much as I can think
of. A
great site (in addition to everythinglasvegas.com) for finding out about
what’s
available is: http://www.vegas.com You can check out the attractions by
going
to: http://www.vegas.com/attractions/
There is a book located at the entrances of many of the Casinos and other
establishments called: “What’s On” It tells you about all the shows,
attraction, shopping areas and restaurants and often has discount tickets. A
free book worth picking up. It even includes a great map of Las Vegas and
the
surrounding areas.
So let’s begin by listing a few great shows to see, other than the expensive
headliners.
I would suggest the following:
The Magic of Rick Thomas at the Stardust. Show times are 2 & 4 p.m. (Dark
Wed). Rick’s Show is only $19.95 and the BEST afternoon magic program in
Vegas.
This is a must see show if you enjoy magic.
Master Magician, Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo - 7 pm (10 PM Tues. & Sat)
(Dark Sun & Mon.) Another must see for lovers of magic.
World’s Greatest Magic Show at the Greek Isles (6 pm)
Mac King has a very funny magic show at Harrah’s It’s at 1 and 3 PM
OK, so I’m a magician and love to watch other magicians perform, but if
you’re
not into magic, and I just can’t understand that, here are some other
options………
Ron Lucas is a very very funny ventriloquist. His show is at 3pm at the Rio.
Both Mac and Ron offer special two for one tickets and other special
prices…
Ask around for the best prices.
“V “The Ultimate Variety Show at the Desert Passage. 7:30 & 9 pm.
Larry G Jones - at the Plaza - 6pm $6.95 (Dark Fri.)
Legends in Concert at the Imperial Palace - 7:30 and 10 pm (Dark Sun.)
The Scintas at the Rio 7:30 pm (Dark Thurs.)
A Tribute to Neil Diamond with Jay White Riviera - 7pm (Dark Fri. & Sat)
MUSEUMS may not come to mind when you think of Las Vegas but here are a
couple
that are worth stopping to see.
Elvis A Rama if you are into Elvis this is a great museum
Liberace Museum - another great collection type museum (2 for 1 ad in
“What’s On”)
The Auto Museum at the Imperial Palace
There are also some great free attractions such as:
Sunset Stampede at Sam’s Town - 2 pm / 6 pm / 8pm / 10 pm
Xtreme Close-Up Magic starring Steve Dacri Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino
9pm
Volcano Eruption at the Mirage - 8 pm on every 15 minutes
Sirens of TI / Pirate Show at Treasure Island - 7 pm / 8:30 pm / 10 pm /
11:30 pm
Gaming Museum, Tropicana, 9 am to 9 pm
Lion Habitat at the MGM (Sat. Morning) 11 am
Fountain Show at the Bellagio - 8 pm to midnight every 15 minutes
Exotic Birds, Mandalay Bay - 11 am to 7 pm
Auto Collection, Imperial Palace, 9:30 am to 9:30 pm
Hoover (Bounder) Dam is a great day trip
Freemont St. Experience - downtown in the evenings -An amazing overhead
light
show.

Ron Lee’s World of Clowns (Henderson)
Ethel M Chocolate Factory tour (Henderson)
The Sea Battle at Treasure Island
M&M World
Mount Charleston
Red Rock Canyon
Valley of Fire State Park
Not everything is free, but it’s still worth seeing and doing….

What is going on at Bellagio???
My husband and I just returned from Wynn Las Vegas opening weekend trip to
Vegas. We stayed at the Venetian, but we spent hours “contributing” to Wynn
Las Vegas and found it beautiful and very comfortable.
The reason I’m writing, though, concerns the Bellagio. We love to play
there, and made our usual trek down the strip to enjoy the conservatory, the
fountains, and the slot machines. What are the new owners thinking??? They’ve
taken out three change booths completely since our last visit, so the wait to cash
out is excruciating! And, both my husband and I (at separate times in
separate places in the casino) had to wait 40-minutes-plus for coin fills, and I
think we might still be there if we hadn’t called each other to go search for
help. We’ve always loved the Bellagio and were very disappointed. I also had to
go looking for a cocktail waitress to get a bottle of water. We’re curious
to know if this has been anyone else’s experience lately.
Thanks for your very informative newsletter!

Vegas info for newsletter
Hi Steve! We a great time at the “newsletter member” get together at the
Imperial Palace on April 23! It was great meeting you and Eileen and many other
members!
Wanted to update you with the goodies from the trip:
Mama Mia - (Mandalay Bay)WOW - what a show, I laughed, I cried, I danced!
Comedy Show at the Trop - We see this show every trip to Vegas - always good
commedians - grab a $5.00 off coupon in the local magazines!
V - The Variety Show (Aladdin)- Well, it was good, but not great. Our tickets
were comped, would have been disappointed if I paid full price.
Hypnopup (Bourbon Street)- Gotta see it! My husband was chosen to be
hypnotized and it was so funny, grab a two for one coupon in the local magazines! The
dog is an added treat!
Food:
We love Ellis Island - try the $4.99 sirloin special - not on the menu -
absolutely wonderful, it comes with potato, rolls, green beans and salad - we also
love their BBQ and all breakfast items - great food, good service and very
reasonable!
Gold Coast - Gotta try the graveyard breakfast at the coffee shop… $2.99
for two eggs, toast, hash browns and a ham steak that is served on its own plate
(and it even hangs over the plate!!!) Service is kinda slow - but worth it!
Also try their reasonably priced buffet, great quality food, great pricing
and it is super clean and spacious.
We also rode the monorail - it is wonderful, clean and not too crowded!
Looking ever so forward to our trip in November. VIA LAS VEGAS

My trip to LV
HI - Just got back from Las Vegas. The warm up act for Howie Mandel was
unbelievably vulgar, but Howie was great.
I would like to warn everyone about a bad experience at the Chinese
restaurant in the Gold Nugget downtown. I believe it’s called the Golden
Dragon. My vegetatrian son ordered a “Ceasar Dinner Salad”. He was served 3
leafs of Romaine lettuce, criss crossed to make them appear higher on the
plate, about 3 or 4 crutons, and a slight sprinkling of grated cheese. If
there was dressing on it it couldn’t be seen or tasted. This gem was $8.95,
and needless to say he left hungry, not wantiing to take a chance on getting
something else equally skimpy. We complained 3 times to the waiters, and the
response was that they SERVE the food NOT prepare it. As we were leaving to
…. go get something to eat…. the host finally offered to have my son and
I come back for another dinner on the house. Actually he would have had to
offer us each 4 of them to complete one normal size dinner salad. Nor did he
offer the rest of our party (6 more of us) the return trip, so we didn’t go.
The rest of the food was good but small portions with small ice cream scoop
size rice servings. Most of us went on to snack later, elsewhere.
I liked the hassle free $10 to join the Sahara slot club. You run the money
thru once and can keep the winnings. Got us off to a positive start.
Finally, how are people supposed to see the new Wynn casino with the forest
growing in front of it? This may be a mistake. It’s a great forest, but
about 30 miles mis-placed.
Also, I have become a big fan of the TV show “Las Vegas”. It’s soooooo
unreal, but really makes you feel connected to the town, (which is also
quite unreal). Vic P.

Re: [Everythinglasvegas] Everything Las Vegas: Members Corner
I never write to anyone EVER!
I am writing to say that I look forward to and read every article. I also
forward it to friends so they can enjoy it too. Problem is, they now get it and
I can’t be a showoff anymore…….so, I now print it and pass it along to
people who have never been to Las Vegas but, are on their way. (such a little
smartass)
I will eventually meet you as we missed you last year. Rats!
Thanks again

Trip report
Dear Steve,
I was in Vegas the end of March/early April as the beginning and ending
segments of a trip where I went to Utah and the Arizona Strip in between.
Where to stay wasn’t an issue, as I’m a Worldmark condo owner, so I checked
out both their facilities, both at the lower end of Las Vegas Blvd (down near
the Silverton casino) and on Spencer St. Due to an odd series of circumstances,
both parties who were going to go on this trip with me were unable to go, so
I was there on my own. But by another odd circumstance, it turned out that my
brother and his wife were going to be there two of the same days I was.
No one ever seems to mention the fact that Vegas has some amazing parks very
close, if you want to get away from the glitter for a while (or just base out
of Las Vegas). We went out to Red Rock Canyon, which I hadn’t visited before,
having heard mixed reviews, and had a great time. It was quite scenic, with
lots of magnificent colored rock formations formed from ancient sand dunes. We
also hit up Mt. Charleston, northwest of Vegas, and found the ski resort still
running over Easter weekend! (So much for hiking to see the bristlecone
pines!)
My brother isn’t a Casino sort of person, so I decided it was high time to
convince him otherwise. So, the next day, I took him and his wife to my favorite
casino, the Rio, to catch the Masquerade in the Sky and to eat at the Village
Seafood Buffet. This buffet is expensive, but worth every penny of it! The
array of seafood is impressive, and I scarfed down a ton of raw oysters, while
my brother was definitely more a crab and lobster fan. It shows up in every
incarnation and ethnic form you can think of. And everything is amazingly fresh.
I stuck around to see the Chippendale’s show (my sister-in-law was a bit
regretful that she had to head back to the RV park with my brother). There are a
couple aerialists in this show that could definitely run competition with Cirque
du Soliel. Afterward, I hit up a “Tabasco” penny slot, and ended up winning a
jackpot, which I played off. (You can play for a long time on a $25 jackpot
on a penny slot!) The slots at the Rio have been good to me before, so I tend
to play there. Went down to the basement wine bar and ordered a flight of
Zinfandel, and spent the rest of the evening chatting with other patrons until they
closed.
Some other highlights: Big Mama’s Rib Shack. I found this place mentioned
online, at Cheap Eats Vegas, and while it’s northwest of downtown, out on
Bonanza, it’s worth looking for, and draws a celebrity clientelle, despite being very
reasonably priced and unpretentious. Some of the best Tennessee barbecue I’ve
ever had! I had baby back ribs, with sides of spiced cabbage and red beans
and rice. Mmmm, that’s Soul Food!
Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden/Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage is still
there, and a great relaxing way to spend an afternoon with some very personable
animals. It’s a little surreal to have a dolphin research facility in the
desert, but this is Vegas! The monorail is also the best E-ticket ride in town. I
got a day pass, one of the days I was there, and hopped on and off as I saw fit.
But be warned: I got lost in the MGM Grand and it was all I could do to find
my way back to the monorail stop. Ironically, my brother had done exactly the
same thing a few days before! I don’t know what the new Wynn Casino/Hotel is
going to do, though, as the monorail jogs to pretty much avoid it
entirely—not even in the neighborhood.
I wonder how much longer the Auto Museum at the Imperial Palace is going to
be a going venture. I was actually looking for it, and it took me several
attempts to get even into the vicinity, as the signage is close to non-existant,
and you have to take an obscure elevator to an obscure floor. I wasn’t the only
one wandering, looking for it, either. Plus, of course, the fact that most of
it is for sale. I don’t know if this is temporary or new digs, or what, but I
had the feeling that the auto collection was something of a white elephant
that they were keeping around, but didn’t really know what to do with it. Played
a couple slots at the IP while I was there, but didn’t hit anything. They also
have about the best monorail access of any casino except the Hilton, where a
short (outside) walk takes you directly into the Trek-themed casino.
Has anyone ever remarked that the major theme on everything in Vegas seems to
be water? It really struck me forcibly this trip, all these water attractions
in the middle of the desert, from rainforests to fountains to aquariums to
water-theme shows to seafood. Even the volcano streams with water. Vegas, the
city built on Water.
Keep up the great newsletter!

Belated trip report, but contains some good info I think
I just wanted to say thanks for the newsletter. I save bits of information
from them into a document, which is constantly added to.
We went to Vegas in January and I am writing this quite late. I won’t put in
all the minute details about flights, etc. but would like to make a few
comments. For January, we had perfect weather. We stayed at the Mirage where we
have now stayed 4 years in a row. After our first trip, we were offered 2 or 3
night comp deals there. We are not high rollers. I was shocked but took
them up on the offer. At that time my budget was probably $300 a day and I
play various slots. My husband mainly plays video poker. We continue to stay
there free and now that I gamble more, we are also getting nice offers from all
of the other MGM/Mirage properties, including Bellagio. We are going back
Memorial Day weekend to stay at Treasure Island, in a suite if available, with
$100 food and beverage and limo to and from the airport. My advice, is sign up
for every slot club card you can get. Use your cards! We also have racked up
some points for some free meals at other hotels.
>From Member Reports, we took two bits of advice. Thanks to those writers!
Saw Gordie Brown Downtown at the Golden Nugget when a reader stated that they
have seen all the big Vegas shows at least once and they thought Gordie Brown
was one of the best shows they had ever seen. We ordered our tickets before we
went and got first row seats. Gordie picked my husband to pick on and gave
us a roll of toilet paper at the end! Great show but too bad the theater
doesn’t have theater seating. They are banquet room chairs hip to hip. I
recently heard that Gordie is leaving the Nugget. Hopefully he will get a nicer
theater wherever he ends up. For those that don’t know who Gordie is, he is
similar to Danny Gans. Impersonator singing songs of the person they are
impersonating, changing the lyrics to make fun of that entertainer. Gordie’s band was
great and he is a great musician as well. And he’s good looking too!
I almost forgot. While waiting for the show, I hit a progressive quarter
royal flush at the Nugget bar for $1875!! I was down a lot before that moment
and then broke even the last 2 days. My first royal flush ever. It was very
exciting. And the pot went down to $1000 after that, so I did well!
We always eat at the Nugget’s Carson Street Cafe when we are downtown. We
love it. Basically a nice reasonably priced coffee shop, with great food from
prime rib to fried chicken, our 2 favorite things there. It also has a nice
ambience.
The second thing we did upon recommendation was go to Red Rock Canyon with a
friend who lives in Vegas. If you have a car, take the 20 minute drive. It
is a National Conservation Area, with a nominal charge per car. There is a 13
mile drive, hiking trails and great information center. It is so hard to
believe that you are so close to Vegas as you gaze upon the beautiful red rock
formations, blue sky and pure quiet. Take a break and go do it. You can also
stop at Bonnie Springs while there, a “Western” tourist town. We just walked
around and had a beer.
The 1/2 day Showtime tour of Hoover Dam is also a great break from Vegas. We
did that last year and really enjoyed it.
We rode the monorail from Imperial Palace Station to the Nascar Cafe at the
Sahara. My husband is a big Nascar fan so he enjoyed it. We rode the
monorail back to the very end to see the whole route and got back on to come back
part way. You can switch across at the ends at no extra charge.
If you ride the monorail, fill out the survey in the brochure in the stations
if it is still in there. I faxed mine in and receive a free 2 trip monorail
ticket immediately in the mail!
Our friend works backstage at Jubilee and got us free tickets last minute our
last night. For those that have never seen an old traditional Vegas show,
this was great. It includes a lot of standard show tunes, beautiful topless
women and some extravagant productions such as sinking the Titanic. I enjoyed it
much more than I thought I would.
This ended up longer than I planned. But I wanted to say thanks to those
that write and perhaps help someone. I didn’t even mention food except Carson
Street. The Mirage Buffet is good and we always grab a quick burger at the
Imperial Palace Burger Palace. It’s convenient and similar to Burger King. I
will report on the TI experience in June. It will be our first time there.
Seeing David Spade, perhaps Larry Holmes and/or Mac King, and the new Wynn.
Safe, good and lucky trips to all! -Inga, Naperville, Illinois,

Wynn Las Vegas Report
Hi Steve, my hubby and I have just returned from a week’s stay in Las Vegas
(4/26 to 5/3); we just missed your gathering — sorry about that. We planned
our trip to be in Las Vegas for the opening of the Wynn Las Vegas and thought
I’d report on our impressions. Our first visit to Wynn Las Vegas was on
Thursday morning, August 28th. It is an elegant facility, but very pricy and we
felt, not particularly “customer friendly” to visitors not staying there. Many
areas of the property are “off-limits” unless you are a hotel guest. For
example, I wanted to buy something for my husband in the golf pro shop. I was told
I was not allowed to enter because I was not a guest of the hotel. Several
people, including myself, were asked to leave a lovely garden area near the
Tower Suites Entrance when we said we were not hotel guests. We thought about
having breakfast at the Buffet which is beautifully decorated with an incredible
array of flowers. We did not and later learned from a couple who had that
everything seemed to be disorganized. We then waited in line to have breakfast
at the Terrace Point Café which overlooks the pool area. This is a large
dining facility. While we waited in line (there were perhaps a dozen or so people
in front of us) we noticed that less than half the tables were occupied, yet
the hostess told us our wait would be 20 - 30 minutes. There didn’t seem to
be enough help on hand which doesn’t reflect very well on management. We wound
up having coffee and pastries in the Drugstore at Wynn. Cost us about $15
– coffee was in paper cups (just like Starbucks) but wasn’t as good; the
cinnamon roll I ordered, however, was the best I’ve ever had. We never did get to
see the water show. The viewing areas to see the water show are very limited
and when I asked, no one seemed to know what the show schedule was. Compare
this to the Bellagio fountains which can be viewed from many many areas and
which run every 15 minutes during the evenings. We attended LeReve Sunday
evening, May 1st. We were seated in the second row — much too close to the water.
Anyone buying tickets to this show should ask to be seated at least half way
back from the water. The show itself was disappointing — not as good as “O”,
and no where near as wonderful as Mystere. Our opinion is that Mr. Wynn made
a big mistake by hiding his facility behind a mountain. Perhaps he’ll have
enough people to fill his facility night after night at $280 and up, but for
that price, we’d much rather stay at the Bellagio where we’ve always felt
welcome; have never been told we couldn’t go here or there and where there are
plenty of place to just sit and relax. By the way, we heard lots of comments
similar to ours about Wynn Las Vegas.

all i read about are penny slot players who get free rooms and free buffets
all over town. i was rated at 90 dollars a play on blackjack and roulette last
year at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. I went back in January and was rated at $50
a play. That’s a PLAY not an hour. My time was 3 hours a day. I want to go
back in June and all I was offered was 1 free night. That’s it. What am I doing
wrong? Is it because i’m not a slot player? They seem to love and cater to
slot players over table players. I remember when they used to welcome my play.
Now I feel like I’m just a bother to them. $50 a play for 3 hours shows that
I’m running a bit of money over the table…….all for a $69 room. Oh how I
miss the mafia!

recent trip
Hi..here’s a couple notes from last weeks trip….I visited IP for diner
hoping to see the great stuff you speak of..I stayed there once about 10 yrs ago
and in one of the building that was then the Howard Johnson’s back in ‘73 [wow
i must be getting old]. Anyway I went to the 5th floor walked into the Chinese
rest. waited about 7 mins at the door, together with another party from GB,
no one ever greeted us, the place was a mess and we left. So we went elsewhere
to dine and to pay.
I got in line at Wynn around 11:30 PM to wait for the midnight opening. By
12:30 the guards were telling us it would be 2 to 3 hours more before we got in,
so I left. I went back Thursday morning and got right in. I had faxed my cred
it application in and had later received a call with an inquiry about my bank,
which I answered. When I went to credit to sign-up they had no record of my
application and they wanted me to reapply. I played the slots for a few mins
and left a $23 winner. So Mr. Wynn has achieved his objective he may have the
high rollers but this frequent LV visitor will remain at Monte Carlo were I
get treated well every time and stay in a $79 room overlooking the strip! The
green felt is the same and the 3X4X5 odds are great!

Las Vegas Trip
Steve,
Congrats on 500 +. Whats your letter worth? As much time and worthwhile
information (priceless.) Vegas is changing rapidly and not all for the good. This
trip we were comped for a slot tourney at the Stardust which was on a Monday so
we booked a flight out of Virginia Beach but could only get a flight for
Saturday. Much to our consternation we could not book a room for Saturday only.
All around town we would have to pay for Friday also. Even Laughlin and Jean
wanted 2 nights. We have been coming to Vegas many years and this was a first.
For your readers please make note. We stayed in Jean for the weekend and went to
the Stardust and stayed.
The slot tourney was fun and I came in second and won $750 . I did well
on the crap tables and hit 777 on a Wheel of fortune. Mama lost but when all
was said and done the whole week trip cost us $130. Highlights - Wildfire Casino
still has the best food & prices(Ribs and Chicken.) Wild Wild west has a good
$1.99 breakfast. Westward Ho has a good inexpensive breakfast. Low Points -
No more .5 coffee and .25 donuts at the Westward Ho. San Remo Prime-Rib up a
buck. No more Key Largo hamburgers. Monorail is too expensive.

Re: [Everythinglasvegas] Everything Las Vegas: Steve and Eileen’s Trip
Report
did enjoy the report more than usual this time. I am still disappointed we
missed you last July. We will be in Vegas the end of May and early June. I
don’t suppose you will be there….
I can’t understand the Harrah’s thing. The first time we ever went to Vegas
we stayed at the IP and frequented the place a few times during our stay. At
that time they had a breakfast for $1.99 or whatever it was. Cheap and good. At
last check it was lousy and $12.95. I was through with the place. Last year
we stopped for the first time in years. We had a good time playing VP and
thought about staying there next trip. Here we go with another loser change. I
guess I’m done with them again, huh?
Thanks for your newsletter as I always read it or forward it to my wife if
I’m on my way to work.
Thanks again, hope to run into you eventually.
Chuck, Mary and David
McCord
PS. I forward your letter to my friends and families when it is a related
issue. I always get the same thing. “Would you stop with the e-mail, you know we
get the damned thing!” That’s gratitude for you isn’t it?
