TRIP REPORT

Dear Steve,

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, for introducing us to Bob Cohen at the Imperial Palace!

Although I did not get to meet Bob in person, I did get to speak with him on the phone when he called me at home. What a gentleman. Bob set us up, three couples, three nights, Wed Apr 13 thru Fri Apr 16, (with a late checkout of 9pm on Sat no less) for an absolutely astoundingly $160 p/couple!! I am still floored.

We all enjoyed the very neat and clean (although considered “Spartan” by some rich, spoiled readers) accommodations and we were especially impressed with the staff who couldn’t do enough for us.

Yes, the main elevators can be painfully slow at peak hours but by doing a

little exploring one can locate the lesser used elevators on your floor. One

warning though, DO NOT eat breakfast at the IP’s buffet. It is totally

disgusting. Either splurge and eat breakfast at Harrah’s buffet or drive to Palace

Station and have a wonderful delicious breakfast buffet for $4.95.

We rented a minivan from Payless at the airport. They have the best price for

that size vehicle, and that was quite “painless”. The Freestar was very

comfortable and did us well on our side trip to Hoover Dam.

We did the typical “touristy” things, Fremont Street, The Sirens of TI Show,

the volcano at Mirage, etc., since the other two couples we were with had

never been to Vegas. After we wore out the others, my wife and I would put them

to bed and then we would try and try our hands at the IP’s slot machines. We

found them to be very tight. We look back now and just consider our losses as a

donation to the IP

.

One more tip, The Rio’s Seafood Buffet is the best spent $25 (with the $10

off coupon) you can eat. I have never eaten so much lobster tail in my life!

Oops! I almost forgot the MAIN reason for our trip. To see Barry Manilow at

his new home at the Hilton Hotel is like dying and going to heaven! We have

seen Barry in concert many, many, times throughout the Philadelphia Tri-State

area since the late 70’s but this show shadows all the others by comparison.

Forget Celine and go see Barry. If you’re over 40 I guarantee goose bumps!

An absolutely wonderful trip thanks to Bob Cohen, Barry Manilow, and of

course you, Steve!

Re: [Everythinglasvegas] Everything Las Vegas: Members Corner

Trip Report:

Just returned from a stay for 2 nights at the Gold coast after a trip to LA.

I called ahead on the Sunday to see if I could check in prior to the 3:00PM,

the lady said it would be fine if I cane over at 1:00PM. I changed my plans and

drove to the Gold Coast. After parking, dragging my luggage to the desk and

waiting in line for 10 minutes, I was told by a snotty girl at the front desk

that I must come back at 3:00PM. I told her I specifically called and she said

that did not matter. When I asked for the manager she said there was none on

duty and she was the supervisor.

I called the hotel after I went away for 2 hours and asked for the manager –

I was given a persons voice mail. I eventually checked in and the only problem

was that 1/2 of the elevators were being remodeled so I was forced to walk

the 3 floors rather than wait 20 minutes.

I would never return to a place where there are no managers and no

responsible employees that are answering the phones. Otherwise Las Vegas was as usual

WONDERFUL.

Great Vegas Trip!

Hi Steve,This is the first time I have written but I enjoy your newsletter

very much. I have been going to Vegas for the last 20 years once a year. I have

stayed at Manaday Bay the year it opened, Monte Carlo the year it opened,

Excalibar the year it opened, and Paris the year it opened. I have stayed at

Flamingo and Circus Circus many years ago. But now I only stay at 1 place for the

last 6 years. I stay at Caesars. There is no comparison to any other hotel.

They treat you like you’re special and make your stay most enjoyable. You are

probaby thinking that I am a high roller but you would be wrong. I usually go

without my husband( he doesn’t gamble, he golfs!) so I go with a couple of

friends who also leave the hubbys home. We just returned from this years trip and

it was great! We went from Mar. 28th – Apr1st. The weather could have been

warmer as we left 3 feet of snow and we wanted sun. We saw 2 shows. Elton John,

which was a big disappointment. His show was boring and obscene at times. He has

no personality and for $110 we could have listened to a cd for free. The

other was Barry Manilow and he is quite a showman. I wasn’t that keen on seeing

him but after the fabulous show I would recommend it to anyone. It was funny,

upbeat, and entertaining. Go see it. We also went to Green Valley Ranch Casino

on the free shuttle from Manalay Bay. We had a 2 for1 coupon for the buffet and

I must say it was the best buffet I ever had. The food was fresh and

appealing. The king crab legs were  warm and full of meat. Everything was really

wonderful and I highly recommend it! As for the gambling, my friends lost

everything they brought and I won at everything I touched, including getting a tax form

for hitting a 2 quarter machine jackpot for 6000 quarters($1500) at Harrahs.

I won $475 at 3 card poker at Barberry Coast, and many other wins on several

slots. I also hit Bingo at the Frontier for $75.(that is fun to play and it

gets you away from the machines for an hour) I lost at Paris, Bellaigio, and

Alladdin. I did alright at Caesars, won some, lost some.

Trip was great! I came home a Winner!  Can’t wait till next year.Jo

Trip Report- April 5- 10

I would like to thank all the responses I received from the members

concerning our trip to Vegas with our boys. The suggestions we got were great, I only

received on response that wasn’t very nice telling me that kids don’t belong

in Vegas. Well I have to say that we had a great time with our boys we stayed

at the Excalibur which is great for kids, they treated us wonderfully and our

room was so big. The boys loved going to the Mini Las Vegas Grand Prix its not

hard to find and if your renting a car its a great place to take them, while

we had the car we went to Circus Circus and went on the Canyon Blaster and a

couple of other rides and we also stopped at the Sahara so the boys could go to

the Nascar Cafe store and the also rode Cyber Speedway. We then took a ride

out the Race track, FYI for everyone they close at 5 p.m. so if you want to go

on a tour of the track get there before that time, but at least they got to see

it and take some pictures. Then that evening we went downtown to watch the

Fremont Experience, which we all enjoyed. They had some great bands playing down

there and we all liked them. The only thing I can say is that it gets real

crowded down there so be prepared.

For those of you taking kids I can tell you that there are so many things for

them to do its hard to write them all down. I can tell you that we went to

the Tournament of Kings and we all thought it was awesome, its pricey but well

worth the money and the food was pretty good, some people say it wasn’t good I

guess we’re simple people who aren’t that picky about what we eat. There’s

also a couple of cool arcades at the New York New York and the Excalibur as well

as Gameworks next to M&M World. My boys won a bunch of stuff including some

stuffed animals.

We also took the boys to see the Fountains at the Bellagio, the volcano at

the Mirage, which the boys thought was to short, and the Sirens at Treasure

Island, which my kids thought was pretty cool, they loved the special effects, for

those of you who’ve never been to it before it gets real crowded and I would

suggest not taking children who are real little they might get scared when the

special effects go off, there was a little girl around 4 who began to cry

when the blasts went off.

We had a great time and for those of you taking kids, I promise you they

should have lots of fun my boys did and there 10 and 13. If any of you members

have questions concerning taking kids to Vegas you can email me at

Re: [Everythinglasvegas] Everything Las Vegas: THE 500TH ISSUE

Thank you Steve for a great newsletter to all your 40,000 members.  You are

to be commended for your dedication and hard work in compiling this

newsletter and so much appreciated by all your member “fans”.  Thank you for

appreciating us as we appreciate you.

The letter is very informative, helpful with a list of all the good places

to eat and visit.  I read every word written and hopefully with the

knowledge I have learned here I can use when I visit Vegas in October again.

Maybe in the meantime you can speak to the “corporates” who

control the slot payouts to loosen them up by then, just kidding of course.

Thanks again, Steve

trip report

I visited Las Vegas with a friend from March 22-26 and would like to submit a

few comments.  I will TRY to not offer much detail (don’t want to lose the

readers), but instead, brief statements.  Remember, I said, “I will try.”

We flew from Nashville to Las Vegas on the morning of 3/22 on Frontier

Airlines.  This was our first trip on this airline, so we did not know what to

expect from them.  What we got were smooth, on-time flights and friendly service.

We had only 40 minutes to connect in Denver, but that proved sufficient…so

sufficient, that we had time to get a bite to eat without having to rush.

The arrival at McCarran gave another pleasant surprise, the quickest I have

ever seen luggage get to the carousels.  We were barely there when the conveyor

went into action.  I have had to wait upwards of 30 minutes in the past.

We rented a car from Payless for an unbelievable rate of $14.75/day for an

Economy car, but were upped to a Compact.  Hey, it’s not like we were going to

be in that car much anyway.  I don’t know how we lucked into such a rate.  I

guess it pays to keep checking, even after you have reserved a car.  The

original car reservation was for $19.99/day, also with Payless.  There was no wait at

pick-up or return, unlike previous rentals from Alamo when I have waited in

line over an hour for pick-up.

We stayed off-strip at Terrible’s.  Given the limited time to be spent in our

room, we saw no reason to pay anymore than for an off-strip locals property.

We are not big gamers, so we don’t get comped as such.  The rooms were clean;

the service, friendly and the price was right.  The only incident (if you

want to call it that) was when one afternoon my friend called the hotel to let

them know he was expecting a fax.  The person on the other end seemed to have a

hard time understanding.

We ate at a number of places new to me as well as a couple of favourites.

The standouts include the buffets at the Aladdin, Paris and Orleans.  We saw it

had been voted best buffet of 2004 (good enough for us!) so we had the lunch

buffet at the Aladdin the first day.  Given the high expectations that

notoriety brought, there still was no let down.  We recommend it highly.

My favourite breakfast buffet  has always been at the Orleans.  The price is

right and the selection is good.  For only $6.99 we had a breakfast better

than much higher priced buffets elsewhere.

We decided to try the Paris buffet on our last night (Friday).  With the

dinner buffet opening at 5:30, we thought it would be a good idea to get in line

at 5:00.  The line seemed to be moving (pleasant surprise).  When we got to the

register, we were charged only the lunch price, possibly because it was still

before 5:30 (another pleasant surprise).  By the time we were seated and

served drinks, it was just about 5:30 and there were dinner selections on the

buffet.  So basically, we ate the dinner buffet at the Paris for the lunch buffet

price.  This buffet gets as high a recommendation from us as does the

Aladdin’s.

Another of my favourite restaurants is Bahama Breeze (Paradise & Flamingo).

I especially like the garlic butter shrimp appetizer, a light meal in itself,

served with a loaf of bread to soak up the oil.  Everything I have had there

has been wonderful.  Their lemonade is also wonderful, as they mix in

fresh-squeezed sugar cane juice.  Of course, this elixir can be complimented with your

favourite distilled liquid.

Another memorable meal was at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Cafe.  We had a

late lunch (2:00-ish) and still had about a 30-minute wait, which we spent in

the gift shop.  By the way, if you don’t see a size you want and ask if there

are more sizes in the back, you will get the standard “everything is already

out” answer.  Go back the next day and you’ll probably find what you were

looking for, as did I.  Anyway, the service was just a little slow, but very

friendly.  My friend had crab cakes; I had a steak.  We both sampled several

margaritas (each) and no, I don’t remember the names of any of them…I barely

remember having them!  The prices across the board were a little on the high side,

but what would you expect from a theme restaurant?  The food was not as

outstanding as the above-mentioned buffets, but definitely good enough to earn a

return visit on my next trip.  The margaritas were great, by the way.

My friend signed up at the Terrible’s slot club desk and one of his immediate

rewards was a free breakfast buffet.  I had found a coupon for a free buffet

for cashing in 200 slot points, so I cashed in so we could have a free

breakfast at Terrible’s Buffet the next morning.  The best thing I can say about this

experience was that it lived up to its name.  We both felt like we would have

rather paid to eat elsewhere.  You should avoid this buffet, which is the

only bad thing I can say about this hotel.

The same could have been said for the buffet at Palace Station, where they

advertise on billboards that they have a $6.99 gourmet dinner buffet.  We were

skeptical…after all, what kind of “gourmet” food can we get for this price?

Frankly, I would like to know in what kind of society this would be considered

gourmet?  Their dinner buffet was not as bad as Terrible’s, but it was still

pretty close to garbage.  Please also avoid this disaster.

We saw three shows.  One was the adult hypnosis show at the Tuscany’s

Gallagher theatre.  We found 2-for-1 coupons and got in for $19.95/each.  It was not

good.  The show begins with a woman who dances for a few  minutes, during

which she gets topless.  Not quite sure why that was part of the show, it added

nothing.  Maybe they thought there should be some form of obligatory nudity.

The “hypnotist”, I thought, obviously thought more of himself than he should

have.  Starting with 9 volunteers, he finished the show with only 3.  A couple of

the volunteers were still so obviously not under toward the end of the show,

they were being coached by the hypnotist.  This show proved to be nothing more

than a waste of time.

The Amazing Jonathan…great show, although, I would absolutely not see any

other show at the Riviera until they alter their seating procedures.  After

getting to the area where the theatre is, you are told to stand in line.  If you

are early enough, you are told to sit at one of several tables (like we were),

otherwise you stand.  When in line, you may not sit on the floor or anywhere

else, and you must stand in groups of two.  There is a line nazi to enforce

these mandates.  Shortly before the show starts, those seated, since we got

there earlier than the others, are led to another line, in which we had to stand,

not sit, in groups of two only.  And there you wait some more.  Why we

couldn’t wait while still seated at the tables is beyond me.  But as they say, “when

in Rome…”  Or in this case, “when at the Riviera, go along with what the

line nazi says, regardless how stupid it is.”  Oh, the show is funny as hell.

Highly recommended.

“We Will Rock You”…  I LOVE this show.  I saw it once before and I made it

a must-see this time.  If you like Queen, you’ll love this show.  If you love

Queen, you’ll really love this show.  We sat in the cheap seats, but we could

still see everything, and we weren’t that far from the stage.  The story

is perhaps a little cheesy, but it is funny and, at times, moving.  The talent is

excellent.  The male lead, Galileo Figaro, is portrayed by Tony Vincent.  His

vocals are top-notch.  Aspen Miller plays the female lead, Scaramouche.  She

also has an amazing voice as she demonstrates on “Somebody to Love” and the duet

with Galileo of “You’re My Best Friend”, both of which were the main

highlights for me.  I would see this show again.

As far as gaming, we played mainly poker and blackjack.  I played poker at

the Sahara, Luxor and the Aladdin.  We played a couple of poker tournaments at

the Aladdin and I played some cash poker as well.  The Aladdin poker room is

great!  It is a non-smoking room, but what I liked best was that unlike most

other poker rooms, the tables are not jammed against each other.  Even with a

full room, there is still room to walk between tables!

We played blackjack at the Sahara and at Longhorn.  The Sahara was for

daytime gaming.  I like that they have $3 BJ.  The one morning I didn’t see a $3

table, I asked and one was opened up for us immediately.  The Longhorn is a VERY

small place on Boulder Highway, just south of Sam’s Town, across from Nevada

Palace.  It is pretty much a hole-in-the-wall, but they have $2 & $3 BJ all

day, and we liked that.  They also have a BJ tournament on Wednesday nights ($25

entry) that I was fortunate enough to win.  The people are very friendly,

except for one dealer who seemed like he’d rather be getting a root canal.  In

fact, we went back in three days later and one of the dealers remembered me.

The trip home was not as pleasant as the trip there.  The return was on

Delta, and they may have lost my business.  A completely full red-eye flight on a

757 with an air-conditioning system which was either not working or not turned

on and the most uncomfortable seats I have ever flown in.  I won’t even go

into detail on how uncaring most of the Delta employees seemed.

I hope this has been helpful to those going to Las Vegas soon and also hope

the next time you go you have as great of a time as we did.

Trip Report 4/24-4/29/05

I just had to write to you and let you know of the great trip we just had.

we always travel with our kids so there is not much show seeing or gambling but

we used a lot of the info we have gotten from your reviews to have the best

time.  We stayed at Fitzgeralds Downtown the 1st night. we always stay there at

least 1 night, besides being very reasonable in price you can sit on the

balcony and wath the light shows all night long.  Heres a grat trip tip if you

stay at Fitz when you check in ask for a “club 21″ room and the will always

upgrade you no charge.  The club rooms come with a coffee pot with better coffee

and better toiletries and FREE BOTTLED WATER and a USA today every morning. and

the room is about 57.00 per night so what a deal.  But we also stayed at

Belliago for 3 nights (No we are not that well off) we got a comp because we tried

to stay there last year for the night (our anniversary) and got stuck in the

power outage.  They were very accomidating and Service was excellent.  But the

must see is the new chocolate fountain 27 feet of chocolate flowing into glass

plates it is a visual dream.  When you stop by the fountain stop in and try

the napoleans they are worth the trip alone from Salt Lake City.  Since the

kids were with us we did a lot of sight seeing  on a tight budget and we had a

blast  doing all the free things Vegas has to offer. My kids love Vegas so much

they would rather go to Vegas than Disneyland.  Thank you for all the

wonderful links and ideas you give us in the news letter.

Kris F.

my recent trip

Hi Steve…

My friends and I recently spent 5 nights/6 days in Vegas at the Westward Ho.

I know, I know…the rooms are out of the 60’s, but they are clean and if you

go to Vegas to stay in your room, then you’re not going to experience all that

Vegas has to offer.

I’ve been staying at the HO for my last dozen visits, and this was the first

time we experienced delays in checking into our room. They only had one person

on the desk, and there was a long line…which I couldn’t understand. Maybe

someone was sick, but they should have covered the desk better. Anyway, after

taking our luggage to our room, we headed for the casino. My friend, Jan, only

plays the tables, so I headed off to the slot machines. On the first night

there, I hit 3 “double diamonds” on a 25-cent machine for $400! What a nice way

to start off our first night. Went to bed early, and got up around 3:30 a.m.

and headed for the casino again. Our friends, Lanny & Gary (Lanny has cerebal

palsy, and was just tickled with the friendliness of the staff of the

casino)…hit for $200 on another Wheel of Fortune game….so it looked like a

profitable trip thus far. Jan was up and down with blackjack, but walked away with

about $300 profit that first day.

Walked back to the new “HO” a smaller casino in back of the original Westward

Ho, and just loved it. Not a whole lot of slots or table games, but the

dealers and pit bosses were animated and a lot of fun….which is unusual, as they

are normally non-communicative and very dry….so that was a lot of fun. I sat

down at a $1.00 MegaMillions game, and right off the bat hit for another

$450….cashed that in and walked over to the Riviera and played another $1.00

slot with bears that light up for the jackpot…and hit $550…walked away (which

is unusual for me…) and was about $600 ahead thus far. Stopped at the

Stardust and hit another $250 on a 50-cent machine…so it was a profitable day.

Of course, when you win, you also lose, and I had budgeted $1,500 for this

trip…so I still had my original “stash” to work with. Tried our luck at MGM

and New York, New York, and the slots were very cold….no luck there! Stopped

at Harrah’s Carnival Court to see the terrific bartenders do their thing…and

if you’ve never seen this before, it’s a must if you’re a “party

person”….They have a free show, and although the drinks are quite expensive, it’s worth

it to see the bartenders juggle the bottles, and mix their drinks.

I even met a former Chippendale there and had my pic taken with him…not bad

for a 57-year old lady from Ohio! He was sweet, and we sat with him for about

an hour….he was also from Ohio and was the nicest guy!

Saturday night, we had been casino hopping all day and went back to the new

HO, where they had an incredible karaoke show….some very talented people

performing…and I had enough “Courage” in me to get up on stage and sing Mac the

Knife…had a ball doing it, and was complimented by many people for my

rendition….met a couple of ladies who worked for MGM and another casino management

group and hung out with them the rest of the night. My friend, Lanny, who has

cerebal palsy, even got up on stage as my “chorus boy” when I sang New York,

New York…..he had a ball!

Our last night there, we had been up since 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning, and

decided, what the heck…we’ll stay up all night gambling before our shuttle comes

at 8:00 a.m Monday….played Blackjack for about 3 hours at the new HO, then

went up front and played 3 Card Poker starting about 3:00 a.m. Jan and I each

cashed in $100 to start with, and after only about 1/2 hour, she hit a

straight flush for $400. Then two guys from Wisconsin sat down with us, and obviously

they had been out all night too….lol….we had a ball…and Ron, the guy

next to me, hit on 3 of a kind for $300 or $400…..within minutes, Jan hit a

straight flush again….then I cashed in my last $100 bill, and I hit a straight

flush! Needless to say, the pit bosses were surrounding our table, and even

brought two new decks of cards, but that didn’t stop us. Ron walked away with

$500, I took $600 home, and Jan, the big winner, had $1,200!!!! My first time

coming home from Vegas with a substantial amount of cash!

As soon as flights are reasonable, we’re all going back again….and of

course, we’ll stay at the HO….our rooms for 5 nights were actually $4.26 per day,

since we had 4 nights free and only had to pay for one night at a discounted

price…so I can’t beat the cost of the room! I had over 30,000 credits on my

Preferred Players card, so obviously, I played a lot while I was there….had

a great time with some fantastic friends, and that’s what visiting Vegas is

all about. Even ran into a friend of mine from Toledo while I was there.

Keep up the great work, Steve….and congratulations on your 500th Issue of

your newsletter. I love reading the comments from other people…and your

insider’s track on all the goings-on is very valuable to a frequent Vegas visitor.

Trip Report

Hi Steve,

I love your newsletter.  I just wanted to give a quick trip report about

my April 13-22 trip to Vegas.  First of all, 10 days is way to long of a

trip.  I need to take a vacation now that I am back.  I was out for the

NAB show.  I stayed at the MGM Grand.  First let me say that the Airport

Check in was great.  No lines at the hotel.  I paid for the shuttle

(which I expected to be an MGM Mirage shuttle) and it ended up being

just another shuttle service.

I got to my room and unpacked and found that the toilet would not stop

running.  After a couple hours, Maintenance showed and I had to pack to

move to another room.  No upgrade, but at least the toilet worked.  This

was my first stay at the MGM.  I would have to say I was not impressed.

Rooms were about the same as Harrah’s or even the Riviera but cost a lot

more.

I did find the gambling to be good (I won).  While I found a few dealers

in the bunch that were friendly (Sherry at 3 card poker from 8p-4a), on

the most part I am not sure how they get any tips at all.  I had 2 craps

dealers raise their voices at me for tossing my chips instead of setting

them on the felt.  Come on fellas it is craps, tossing chips is what

craps is all about.  Pit bosses were sure to let you know in no

uncertain terms that if your average bet was not $25 they did not want

to be bothered by you. Also the Casino host I spoke to was very rude.

He did not want to do anything for me at all.  However the person at the

slot club booth was just the opposite.  She could not do enough for me.

Comped all my food, and even told me to check with them for my next trip

and I could have 3 or 4 nights comped.  So I would say they have some

good people working there, but they are few and hard to find.

OK, One more complaint about the MGM and I will move on.  What is the

deal with charging $8 for water in the restaurants?  And where did the

trend of charging per item come from?  I went to Craft Steak at the MGM

and ordered a steak (which was very very good) and that was what I got.

A Steak.  No salad, no potato, no bread.  Everything else cost extra.

Including water.  I hope this is a trend that ends quickly.  It is not a

good trend.

Anyway, I got to see the dealertainers at the IP.  That was an

experience.  After, I played some 3 card poker.  The guy next to me

(playing $25 a hand) hit 4 straight flushes ($1000 win each) within an

hour.  Lucky guy, but he didn’t tip the dealer at all.  Come on guy, she

just gave you $4000 tip her a couple bucks.  Everyone else at the table

really made him feel bad and he finally gave the dealer $5 as he was

leaving.  I also played poker at the MGM poker room.  It was fun to

watch and read the other players.  You could really see the locals that

were there to fleece the tourists.  I actually caught a couple hands

that let me fleece a couple of them.  Didn’t win a million dollars, but

I left with more than I sat down with so it was a win.

I also got to see the last show at the Riviera for the Amazing Jonathon.

It was a great show.  Not intended for anyone under 18.  I saw a couple

young kids that could not have enjoyed the adult language and humor.

But I really enjoyed it.  Also went out to Green Valley Ranch.  I rode a

free shuttle from Mandalay Bay.  The property was very nice and everyone

seemed to go out of their way to help you.  I was very impressed by the

customer service.  All hotels/casinos should try to have this type of

service.  If I can afford the room (which are pretty high priced) I

would like to stay there and see how the service is over a 4 night stay.

I ate at Lucille’s BBQ in the district.  I would have to say the best

meal I had in 10 days.  I ordered and then went to wash my hands.  By

the time I returned, my meal was ready.  The soda was in a huge glass

(no worry about a refill) and the food tasted great.  Michelle was my

server (also was the bartender) and I promised to mention her in my

report.  Also, they gave you a warm (okay so hot you almost couldn’t

touch it) wash cloth to clean up with when you were done.

Okay, this has become a book.  So I will give the quick review.  MGM

service stinks (for the most part).  GVR service great.  Amazing

Jonathon, well, Amazing.  Lucille’s BBQ well worth the trip to The

District.  Tip your dealer if you win $4000.  Finally, 10 days in Vegas

is exhausting and I can’t wait to head back.

Re: [Everythinglasvegas] Everything Las Vegas: Issue # 503

Although I have only been a reader of Everything Las Vegas for the past year,

I totally enjoy each and every issue! I love to hear about anything that

happens in Vegas and usually plan on at least one trip a year to indulge in my

slot habit. Last fall I took a trip with my mother and aunt and great aunt who

all were there for the first time. They had never experienced anything like Las

Vegas and needless to say it has now become a much anticipated annual trip for

just the “girls”. Keep up the great work and congratulations on #500!!!
